KidSport™ Ottawa receives generous donations from local sport clubs for eligible children & youth to participate in their programs. Below you will find information on eligibility, current offerings and how to apply.

Who is Eligible? |
|
Children & youth ages 5 to 18 and residing in the City of Ottawa. Preference may be given to those who have not previously received a KidSport™ grant; are applying for introductory or house league programs; and whose family income falls within Statistics Canada’s low-income cutoffs.

Parkwood Hills Softball Association - 8 Spots Available
Children & youth ages 4 to 18 (born between 1993 & 2007) and living in Nepean. Specify Parkwood Hills Softball Association as the sport club on the application form.
Ottawa Fusion Volleyball Club - 2 Spots Available
2 spots available for an 8 week volleyball program going from April 2nd to June 4th, 2011. Age 6 to 14 female or male. Specify Ottawa Fusion Volleyball Club as the sport club on the application form. See also www.ottawafusion.ca.
Nepean City Soccer - 12 Spots Available
Children & youth ages 4 to 18 (born between 1993 & 2007) and living in Nepean. Specify Nepean City Soccer as the sport club on the application form.
Deadline is April 1st, 2011 (applications received after are pending availability from the club).
Ottawa Royals Soccer Club - 12 Spots Available
The following spots are available to be filled with one female and one male (2 spots) in each house league division: U5 (born in 2006), U6 (born in 2005), U7 (born in 2004) and U12/13 (born in 1998-1999). The following spots are available to be filled by a child from each year: U8/9 Boys (2002-2003), U8/9 Girls (2002-2003), U10/11 Boys (2000-2001) and U10/11 Girls (2000-2001). Please specify Ottawa Royals Soccer Club as the sport club you wish to participate in on the application form. For more information visit www.ottawaroyals.ca.
Capital United Soccer Club - 3 Spots Available
Programs available:
Youth Development Program - Friday evenings, May 15th – September 10th, 2011 (ages 4 and 5)
Youth Development Program - two times weekly, May 15th – September 10th, 2011 (ages 6 to 11)
French Youth Development - Sunday’s, May 15th – September 10th, 2011 (for francophone’s).

Ottawa-Carleton Ultimate Association - 6 Spots Available
Youth ages 9 to 13 (born between 1998-2002); Utlitimate will take place at Portobello Park (Orleans/Cumberland), Lynda Lane (Central Ottawa) & Ben Franklin (Nepean). 2 spots available at each field. Specify OCUA as the sport club on the application form.

To apply for one of these donated sport club spots, include the name of the club as specified above and program location if applicable with a completed KidSport™ Ottawa application form (as per the grant application guidelines).
